# Testing and validation

> Acceptance checks for a pilot analyzer integration.

## Minimum acceptance checks

* Known dispatched specimen barcode returns the correct mapped worklist.
* Normal and abnormal results import successfully.
* Duplicate delivery with the identical payload is idempotent.
* A reused message ID with a changed payload enters reconciliation as a conflict.
* Unknown barcode and unmapped analyzer test are quarantined.
* Unit/type mismatches are rejected rather than converted silently.
* Authorized reports are never overwritten.
* ASTM result import succeeds.
* HL7/MLLP result import succeeds and returns `MSA|AA`.

## Evidence to retain

For every pilot validation, retain sanitized examples of the source message, OIE channel status, HMIS integration audit, and final requisition status.
